The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a partnership between our farm and you. It's a way for you to know exactly where your food is grown and who grew it and a means to support a local business as well as a way to keep your money as in the Santa Cruz economy.

In return for purchasing a share at the beginning of the season, you and your family or friends will receive a box full of organic vegetables, fruit, and herbs that were harvested the day before and delivered to a pick up location that is convenient for you.

A family sized share is 10-12 seasonal items per week. An individual sized share is to 8-10 seasonal items per week.

Shares can be purchased in two ways. You can pay for your share in one payment before the season starts or in two payments (the first half before the season starts and the second half by August 27th).

If you miss the start date and would still like to sign up you can. The price of your share will automatically be prorated for the remaining weeks left.

*Please Note: That when you sign up for the CSA you are entering into a contract with Route 1 Farms. The farm allocates and uses your share payment early in the season and thus shares are not refundable. *

All of our produce, fruit, herbs and flowers are certified organic by CCOF. We take great care in protecting and enriching the natural resources on the 65 acres of land that we farm. Our warehouse runs off of solar panels and our tractors and delivery trucks use biodiesel.

Many of the people that work for Route 1 have been with us for years and that's something we pride ourselves on.
