Yellow Cayenne-spicy: If you like cayenne peppers, you’re going to love their golden cousin. Although similar to the traditional cayenne chili pepper, there are a few differences. Where traditional cayenne fruits are wrinkled and skinny, golden cayenne peppers tend to be larger with smooth skin.
This hot pepper develops beautiful, smooth-skinned golden peppers that add eye appeal to the garden, and gets hotter as it grows larger. From cayennediane.com
Corno di Toro-mild: Multi-talented Italian heirloom: delicious raw, fried, stuffed or grilled.
The name of this Italian heirloom translates as "horn of the bull", a tribute to the peppers' full, tapered shape. Ripening to a bright red, the fruits-8-10" long and 2 1/2-3' wide at the top-have a sweet, crisp, full-bodied flavor. A tasty favorite eaten raw, fried, stuffed or grilled. From burpee.com
Paprika (fresh): Paprika is far more than a dusting of color on top of potato salads and deviled eggs. Fresh paprika has the full flavor of the peppers it was ground from. Originating, like all chili peppers, in the Americas, paprika peppers are now strongly associated with Hungarian cuisine. Paprika can range in flavor from mild and sweet to fiery hot, and is used heavily in Eastern European cooking. Form thespicehouse.com
Jalapenos: The jalapeño is pretty much the perfect amount of heat for those that like a little kick, but don’t want to challenge their taste buds to a duel. Most people can enjoy a jalapeño. It’s one of the great culinary peppers in the world, finding its way into Tex-Mex dishes, Thai recipes, Spanish foods, and much more. This is truly a pepper that’s found its niche, and it’s got big time fans all over the world. From pepperscale.com
